Report on Wakefield Park Historics April 8/9 2017

"These shots are from the last HSRCA meeting at Wakefield Park over the weekend of April 8th and 9th.

Car 147 is the Group L Decca Major of TR Register founder, past President and Life Member, John Murn.

The other photo shows the Group S TR3As of Wes Dayton (Wes is pictured in the foreground) and Andrew Gibson.

Wes ran in Regularity over the weekend and it was fantastic to see Wes and the 3A back out on the track after having been the innocent recipient of considerable damage at Eastern Creek last year.

Andrew ran in Group S, as usual, where it was his turn to be the innocent recipient of damage, albeit minor. This certainly didn't stop Andrew putting on a very exciting show in the last Group S event of the weekend. Long time rival and friend, Colin Goldsmith in his beautiful Big Healey was given a fairly sound spanking by Andrew in 'Camilla'. Very exciting and both drove in a very hard, yet sportsmanlike manner."
